■3rd Person POV■

Bokuto and Y/N have been back together for 7 months. Bokuto is back to the old him. Loving it when the crowd cheered for him but, among that crowd, only one voice mattered the most to him. His Baby Owl's, Y/N.

Right now Bokuto is slumping on the table in front of him. His friends Akaashi, Kuro, Hinata, Sakusa, and Atsumu are staring at him and thinking.

They're in Bokuto's apartment right now, because Bokuto suddenly called them saying there's an emergency.

The emergency was actually, tomorrow is Y/N's birthday and he hasn't prepared anything and doesn't know what to buy.

Kuro: such a cute emergency bro...

Sakusa: I can't believe I trust you when you said there's an emergency... my brain might already be infected by something... hft.

Hinata : buy her cute things!!!

Bokuto : she's cuter than anything...

Atsumu: buy her jewelry or precious stone

Bokuto : she's more precious and more sparkly than any jewelry.

It went silent then

Akaashi: Bokuto san... what do you have in mind when you think about L/N san?

Kuro : and combined it with what would make her happy.

Bokuto is busy with his own mind as he has a lot of things in mind when he thinks about her.

Bokuto : I love her beauty, her kindness, and how she takes care of me. She likes to be around her friends too. I like how she would always sip her morning tea graciously while letting me lay my head on her lap, I like how she alwa-

Just then something came into Bokuto's mind.

Hinata : Bokuto san what is it?

Bokuto : I think... I know what I want to give to her....

Just like that Bokuto didn't tell his friends what would he give to her. As the whole night, his friends were wondering and still didn't get an answer till they left his apartment.

Bokuto lay on his bed looking at the ceiling. He smiled to himself and drifted to sleep.

■Y/N POV■

Kotarou called me during lunch break earlier. He told me to meet up with him after work. I already got another job at a local hospital 6 months ago.

I waited in front of the hospital as Kotarou told me to. Just then he came with his usual smile, but today his hair is down.

Y/N: did you forget to do your hair Kotarou?

Bokuto: sorry for the wait... uh no, I uh kinda want it down today... I want to look good.

Well no matter how he did his hair, he's always looking good. I brush his bangs to the side a little and give him a smile.

Y/N: you look good either way... always

His eyes lit and his cheeks flushed a little. He then grabs my hand and asks me to walk with him.

We walk for a while, I have no idea where will he take me to. As I just follow him from behind.

Y/N: where are we going Kotarou?

Bokuto : we will go to my apartment

He picks me up to come to his place? He could just wait there though. I look at his face, it looks red. I hold his hand tighter.

Y/N: Thank you for picking me up Kotaro

And he smiled back at me.

We've arrived at Kotarou's apartment. He helps me take off my jacket and hang it. After that, he went to the kitchen.

Bokuto : Y/N come to the living room, please...

I walk to the living room and Kotarou suddenly turned the light off, but it wasn't dark. I was surprised when I saw his living room.

There is some string light hanged vertically from the ceilings, and a lot of photos are clipped to those lamps.

These photos are all our photos from Fukurodani, until the recent one. There are some of Fukurodani volleyball team photos with me in them. Our selfies, our photos were taken on our date, and many more.

Somehow it warms me up. Just then Bokuto came and I turn around. He holds a cake with a candle on it.

Bokuto: Happy Birthday Y/N! Come on make a wish!

I closed my eyes to make a wish, and then I blow the candle. Then we walk to the middle of the room as he placed the cake on the table.

Bokuto :I... I'm sorry I didn't prepare something grander.... I did all of this on my own too... I hope you like it

Y/N: Kotarou...

I hug him, and I can feel he's startled. I pulled back and look at him to show him how happy I am with what he did.

Y/N: I like it so much... thank you

■Bokuto's POV■

I watch as she smiled happily at me. I did good right? She then walks around looking at each photo, sometimes laughs at it.

I can't take my eyes off her. I love this girl so much. Thank god I got a second chance after making huge mistakes.

Bokuto : what did you wish Baby owl?

Y/N: hmmm... nothing much, I wish that everyone would always be healthy and happy, I wish that you and the other would never be injured during a game, and to have a long life.

Listening to all of her prayers, I couldn't help to smile. She's so kind, even she count everyone around her in her prayer during her big day.

Y/N: oh! And... I wish... I could always be with you Kotarou.... to be able to stay by your side for a long long time.

She looks away from me, I could see that the tip of her ears is red. Hearing that last wishes, made me certain.

Bokuto : Y/N...

I called on her name and she turns around to face me.

Bokuto : I have another thing to give to you.... it's up to you whether you wanna take it or not.

I reach a small velvet box in my pocket and pull it out. I open it and hold it Infront of Y/N. Y/N face are surprised  her eyes are widened.

Bokuto : I... back then when we lived together... I always dreamt of a world where I could always be with you... how I woke up to your face every morning... and stare at your face before I sleep.

I could see that Y/N eyes are teary

Y/N: K-Kotaro?

Bokuto : I was hesitant ever since I pick you up at the hospital. How I realized that you're a very smart, hard-working, caring, and kind-hearted woman... I keep questioning am I the right one for you.... But

I walk closer to her, as she stayed where she stood.

Bokuto : when I heard you wished you could always stay by my side... all of my uncertainty left me... I want to make your wish come true Y/N... I'll make you stay with me.

I get down on one knee, held the ring box higher, and hold one of my hands for her to take. Y/N covers her face with her hands, as I could see her body trembling a little.

Bokuto : would you please live in this humble house with me, stay by my side every single day, and take care of this dummy, muscle brained, idiot of a man for the rest of your life?.... will you... be my wife and be Bokuto Y/N? Marry me Y/-

Before I finish what I'm saying, Y/N pounces me as I fell on my but. I look down and see that she's clutching the front of my shirt tightly.

Y/N: es....

She finally looks up and I could see how her face is brimming with tears, she smiles warmly at me.

Y/N: Yes... Please

I couldn't contain my happiness as I hug her as tight as I could. I could feel my eyes are stingy, but nope I'm not gonna cry.

I pulled away and took her hand in mine. Then I put the ring on her finger, and kiss her forehead.

Bokuto : thank you for accepting my gifts.... soon to be Mrs. Bokuto

With that, she buries her face on my chest again. As I put my arms around her.

This way we will always together

I will make you happy
